The summation of relations which have been confirmed by economic laws and are in superior position in a society. It forms the economic foundation on which the superstructure relies; it determines the general direction and basis nature of the whole economic activities. E.g. Economic system of capitalism, economic system of socialism. It can also be called as "social economic system"., Concrete system of a social and economic system or an aspect of an industry, e.g. The industrial system, agricultural system, etc.
